    Transitioned from implementation services to perform more of a control and analysis role. These responsibilities were similar to the previous role, where a lot of focus was on the process engineering, however, there were business analyst responsibilities as well, such as return on investment, tim eto market, headcount savings, resource allocations, etc. The projects that I am currently working on range from simple flows, such as a scheduled re-boot of a server, to the much more complex, An example of the complex would be the successful completion federally mandated out of region resiliency testing. I also maintain a service catalog that feeds a metrics portal for our clients. Part of those responsibilities include JAVA/Javascript coding, XML, and support of an in-house development request tool.

    While finishing up a major data center build, I transitioned into implementation services. This was a role that would ensure technology was being implemented into the environment correctly based on the design of the plant. It involved investigating and documenting all process flows that could result in the installation of equipment into a technology room. Examples include, server gear, network gear, storage gear, carrier lines and or equipment, cabinets, cable trays/pathways, intra-building connectivity, etc. While in this role, I also played a role in the migration of all servers/network/storage gear out of our downtown NYC data centers into our strategic data center locations. This project lasted approximately two years.

    Transitioned out of the backup environment to technology facilities infrastructure. Responsibilities included the design and implementation of the cable plant for all new campus build outs globally. This included managing scope, schedule, and budget for all projects. I also managed the general contractors and their sub-contractors, ran daily briefing calls to handle issues/risks associated with the project. Major projects worked on: Complete retro-fit of a 30 story high rise, to accommodate approximately 200 users per floor. The build out of a new strategic data center to house all of our production/non production equipment, as well as, tenant space, major telecommunications room, and multiple points of presence for carrier drop-offs. This also included rebuilds of existing floors within the campus, across the United States, Japan, and London

It was a move from a standalone backup solution to a networked backup solution. After 2 years on that platform, we successfully migrated to the Legato platform, which enabled us to be completely automated for all backups.
