    Take a leadership role including management of the SSMDF team responsible for the day-to day operations; develop SSMDF business plan and annual work plans for the Board’s review and approval. Coordinate with microfinance institutions, financial cooperatives, Microfinance Association of South Sudan (MASS) and the Bank of South Sudan to ensure effective synergies are captured in the delivery of Microfinance programs and products to the microfinance clients; recently Mr. Yak was among 8 member team that was tasked with ensuring effective regulation for Mobile Money are put in place, the team visited Rwanda Malawi and Tanzania for the learning experience of the regulatory regimes for mobile money in those countries. Mr Yak was also secretary to the national committee instituted by the Bank of South Sudan in 2013 to put in place Credit reference Bureau. Work closely with microfinance institutions (MFIs/SACCOs) to help them achieve sustainability and contribute to increase in access to Finance, Financial Sector and Enterprise Development, and Job Creation for effective realization of SSMDF objectives; design training programs to maintain high performance standards and retain talented staff and also as a way of improving the performance of the staffs of partnering institutions. Mr. Yak also represents South Sudan Microfinance Industry in many regional summits for especially in Africa.
