The Cuanza Sul Project Manager is responsible for the following: 1. Engage UNDP Global Fund project staff, sub-recipients and partners in ensuring that the planned implementation activities is as per the work plan. b. Lead in ensuring continuous positive engagement of the provincial health authorities in the facilitation of activities implementation. 4. Manage UNDP HR and assets in Cuanza Sul province a. Line manage a team of four (4) including an M&E Associate, a PSM associate, an Administrative/Finance Assistant and a Driver; develop and monitor annual performance and professional development objectives 5. Performance management & knowledge sharing a. Assignment/function:BASELINE STUDY FOR PROMOTION OF SANITATION AND BEST PRACTICES OF HYGIENE IN RURAL COMMUNITIES OF CUNENE PROVINCE PROJECTCONSULTANCY OBJECTIVEBaseline study focused on data collection on rural water supply, sanitation, hygiene and to identify the difficulties of access to water and sanitary facilities and identify the obstacles that hinder better sanitation and hygiene in rural communities. The study also looked at the level of agricultural knowledge, the local availability of seeds as well as their quality and the type of foods they eat.The study report from baseline will be used as a measure to monitor project progress against the indicators defined throughout the project implementation. The baseline study has thus achieved the following:• Collected and organized reference baseline data • Developed parameters for measuring a series of project indicators to during implementation and enable the evaluation of the project at the end of its life cycle.• Assessment of project indicators for relevance and measurability on the basis of the baseline study results and thus revise them accordingly• Created a database for M&E parameters and monitoring of trends• Formulated data collection instruments and report templates• Training of project staff in monitoring of project indicators, reporting and database management.
