EnACT’s overall objective to improve the access of the Zambian population to accountable institutions, to justice and to transparent government decision-making processes. An important milestone to achieving this outcome is to improve legal aid service delivery using innovative tools in Zambia.As a Digital Transformation Expert and Research Consultant on the project, my goals and deliverables are as follows: • Organise and implement needs assessment research with the use of Human Centred Design in Lusaka, Copperbelt and Southern provinces• Ecosystem analysis and scoping of the Legal Tech system in Zambia, identifying the Legal Tech actors and potential solution providers, other development cooperation actors and CSOs working in this field• Engaging all the relevant stakeholders both at the regional and national level to co-create innovative Legal Tech solutions• Facilitating a Legal Tech conference to take place in November• Refining, 15 or more recommendations resulting from the learnings into 5 innovative solution pathways.
