I started out automating email workflows to support the small but mighty Community team and implementing a bayesian filter to remove spam from the network. I quickly became a core contributor to the Python web stack (CherryPy, PostgresSQL, memcached) where I built paid products, user-engagement features, and was eventually added to the pager rotation to handle off-hours production outages.
