    I have completed my Masters in Broadcast Journalism in Nottingham. This is a BJTC-accredited course in which I have learnt how to use and operate radio and television equipment and the editing skills required to produce journalistic packages for radio and television news output. The course also involves a large online focus so I am also able to produce short-form videos and output for social media, and know the skills needed to make the most of social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter and reach wider audiences.

    For 7 months I worked at my local Starbucks branch. Hours were usually about 16 per week although over busy periods such ac Christmas and New Year I often worked 20+ hours a week. Opens and closes would usually be done with only one other person so this was a role in which I had a large level of responsibility and pressure to work independently and know what tasks needed to be done in order to be ready to open or make sure that everything is clean when closing. This also meant that I needed to learn quickly and adapt to the high pressure environment of the store when it was busy.
