    • Apotheos
      • May 2019 - Jun 2021

Apotheos is my second original short film. Focusing on the dynamics of the human experience through the framework of Family, this film is designed to engage straightforward realities we all face with our family, pursuing a certain baseline familiarity that may in fact antagonize an audience person's own perspective of who they are to themselves and to their family (and friends). In its simplicity, it does attempt to push us as an audience by serving as a proxy to how we treat those around us...creating an opportunity to reflect upon the ways we allow ourselves to act in moments we believe justify our behaviors while they may be objectively negative. It asks the question, "Where is the line—and why is it at that point?"I am deeply grateful to the collaborations that manifested through the physical creation of this film. Like any film, the obstacles became the way. And in that, those people involved gave much in pursuit of excellence. I am very proud of each person's sacrifice and contribution. Alex Corsetti served as the Executive Producer, Joel Marsh and Andrew Penczner served as our Directors of Photography, Nathan Beausoleil our Audio Specialist, and myself as Producer, Director, and Lead Actor. Our cast included: Stephanie Lynn, Jeremy W. Roberts, Margarita Kallas Lee, Josh Beren, Alexandra Case, Manucher Yaghobian, and Elisabeth Clark. Our Music Director is Jon Marc Winchester.I'd like to express supreme gratitude to my partner Shena Sanchez for how important her support has been throughout the production, as every single person involved was a direct benefactor of her contributions, and this film's production would not have enjoyed the level of quality it did without her. Additionally, Christophe Loiron and Jordan Garbow of Mister Freedom for their unwavering support throughout all my creative endeavors—what a blessing to be held in your regard.

Working in each continuously informs and builds the skillsets I use to implement an evermore effective approach of art and film production.
