Delivered quarter end reporting usually completed by 5 FTE with only 2 FTE. This enabled smooth Board and Audit sign-off of the financial result.• Enabled executive management to better understand and gain further insight each month of a key metric. This was achieved through preparing documentation explaining a proposed change to a key executive management performance reporting document. This documentation was used to get approval from the CFO to implement the change. • Implemented efficiencies equivalent to 160 hours saved a year.

Responsibilities:•Managed a portfolio of operating expenditure. Annual forecasting, accruals and variance analysis, including impact on annual forecast. Tracked savings and increases to budget. $100m.•Managed business unit capital expenditure. Monthly forecasting, accruals, variance analysis and annual outturn. 5 virtual team members, circa $300m.•Conducted financial reviews on several business cases up to $1m each. Verifying financial and risk assumptions, checking NPV, IPR and ROIC calculations and confirming correct accounting treatment.•Assisted the business in understanding financial information. Business partner for two General Managers. Present monthly P&L results to the General Managers and their teams.•Lead the creation of a standardised labour recovery model across 13 General Manager areas and 2500 employees, enabling accurate margin analysis, correctly valued assets and reduced risk to the company.Achievements:•Mitigated audit risk, enabled assets to be correctly valued and margins to be accurately measured through the creation of a simplified and standardised labour recovery model spanning 2 Executives, 13 General Managers and encompassing 2500 FTE.•Improved EBITDA through advising and reporting on a General Manager’s P&L. Enabled the area to turn around from $200k adverse to budget to flat to budget within 4 months.•Reduced cash payments by $1.2m by finding a rebate that had been earned but not claimed and working with procurement to receive the appropriate credits.•Enabled better management of circa $300m capital guidance for the year by leading improvements to the capital financial management process. Realigned capital delivery portfolios and set up management reporting and meetings ensuring timely and accurate actual and forecast information was received.•Partnered in the reduction of an expense portfolio by 60% ($40m) through the validation and tracking of cost reduction initiatives.
