Pediatric Palliative Care Network

Framingham, MA
-
Family Advisory Council Member
-
Jun 2017 - Aug 2019
-
Framingham, MA
The goal of the Pediatric Palliative Care Network is to improve the quality of life for families in Massachusetts who care for children with life-limiting illness. PPCN serves the unmet physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of these children. Eight licensed hospices throughout the state — all skilled in pediatric palliative care — are part of the network. As a member the Family Advisory Council, I collaborate with and inform the directors of the Pediatric Palliative Care Network to help ensure services are designed in a way that meets families’ needs. PPCN appointed me to this position due to my first-hand knowledge of PediPal services, & experience in advocating for children with special needs - including those who are medically fragile.
