Apex Entrepreneurship Society is a Virginia Tech alumni founded organization who's purpose is to inspire and support Entrepreneurial students during their time at Virginia Tech and after. During my time as their Social Media Marketing intern, I managed their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts and grew their follower base by upwards of 15% a semester. I drafted and published 10-15 different posts per week, pertaining to the 12 programs that Apex oversaw. Additionally, I attended program events to gather relevant content and helped promote attendance via event giveaways. Throughout my time at Apex, I learned a lot about data collection via social media platforms, as well as time management as most of my work was done remotely.
