Family & Children's Pastor at Temple Bible Church
-
May 2006 - Dec 2021
I was initially attracted to this area of ministry because I could involve my own family. For 15 years, I had the privilege of helping build an awesome and family ministry program that engaged 200-550+ children, brought 25-125 volunteers, hired 2-5 part-time staff, and employed numerous Kid Care workers! We created new ministry initiatives like Family Night, expanded our Fall Festival and other outreach events, developed our own curriculum, and refurbished an entire ministry wing. I was also given the opportunity to lead numerous teams overseas on mission trips to Ukraine.

I stepped into this ministry when the current youth pastor stepped into our college ministry. The youth group began around 75 participants, but ministry grew to 150 youth. Junior High Youth Pastor
-
Jun 1999 - May 2003
This was my first full time ministry position. The youth group started with 25 total. At the end of 4 years, the ministry had grown to well over 130. In the beginning, we had only 10 volunteers and 0 interns. In the end, we had 7 interns, 25 volunteers, and a junior high ministry team who helped with assimilation, announcements, and outreach events.
