    I continue to write books, with the last in the series of the Destiny Chronicles in progress. I am creating online course content for a creative writing course for 9 - 13 year olds, as I hope to inspire children to love writing and to learn the tips and tricks for creating great narrative pieces. My future courses will include a writing course aimed at emotional healing and an art course for children. As an ex- teacher I love education and coupled with my love for writing I hope to marry the two and inspire others to unleash their creative side.

    I am the Founder of Carroway Publishing and hope to assist others with the writing process. Beginning to write can be a daunting experience with an overwhelming amount of information. That is where I can assist with advice on how to take your novel through to publication. I also give advice on editing and creating covers for books. I love to be involved in the whole creative experience of developing an idea and transforming it into a book.     For many years I worked together with my husband Hamilton in the Non-Profit Sector. We were involved in training and counselling as well as motivational teaching and speaking. We founded Vital Connections Coaching and Consulting where we helped those with relational and life issues. We provided one-on-one coaching, coaching via skype, telephone or email for a few years before changing direction.We decided a few years ago to change our lives, to live a simpler yet more meaningful life and to enjoy adventure and experiences rather than accumulate things. As a result we made many changes to reach this goal.We believe that anyone can create the relationships and a life they love. Although coaching is no longer our focus, we are available for motivational speaking on a variety of topics relating to life and relationships should anyone require our services.

    I worked as a preschool teacher in a wonderful centre with children from the ages of 2-5 years. This is where I learned to love children's stories and the response they evoke in children. I learned about the humour that appeals to younger children and how much fun it is to involve children in reading and creating. This is where my desire to write children's stories came from - sitting on a bean bag reading to preschoolers.

    I spent a year lecturing disadvantaged students who were training to become teachers. This was an extremely valuable job that taught me to appreciate opportunities and instilled a great desire in me to make a difference in this world. I lectured various subjects, including Maths, Biblical Studies, Classroom Management Skills and Geography. This period of my life opened my eyes to the issues less fortunate people deal with and taught me that kindness is essential in life.
