My responsibilities were setting up a work and event space for the Dutch Creative Industries. The incubator served from it's start in the autumn of 2014 as a valuable stepping stone into the French market. Designers, architects, cartoonists, stylists, writers, artists, art dealers, and performers use the space to their needs: co-working, meeting, presenting in order to strengthen their position on the French and international market.Apart from facilitating presentations for users, we develop a series of debates, masterclasses and networking events on subjects relevant for creative and cultural entrepreneurs. We try to connect and increase collaborations.Atelier Néerlandais is part of the Netherlands Embassy in France and serves as a platform for its cultural and economic policy goals, for the Dutch cultural and creative sectors. Its use a modular, open to a wide range of creators with Dutch roots. In its programming, the Atelier Néerlandais follows the Parisian Festival calendar, which means that the space serves in the weeks dedicated to fashion, design, photo, books, modern art as a meeting place dedicated to presentations, debates, defilés or showrooms.

Marketing, Communication & China coordinator
-
Apr 2011 - Jul 2012
From 2009 - 2013 the DDFA programme office fulfilled the role of initiator, advisor, coordinator and stimulator of a cross-disciplinary programme of international activities in the field of Dutch fashion, design and architecture. Activities were based on local demand for the specific knowledge, skills and qualities of Dutch designers, following from regional environmental, social and cultural issues.DutchDFA was a unique public-private collaboration between three Dutch ministries - Economic Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Education, Culture & Science - and Dutch design organisations such as NAi, Premsela, the Chief Government Architect and several professional associations. The DutchDFA programme aims to strengthen the international position of Dutch Design, Fashion and Architecture on a long-term basis. For this it brings together the creative strength of these three disciplines with the combined administrative drive of Dutch economical, cultural and foreign affairs policies. My role as the Marketing and Communications Advisor was to make sure its mission was clearly visible for different target groups. And as liaison coordinator China to accomplish more understanding in the Netherlands of the Dutch DFA programs in China and the Dutch Design Workspace in particular.
