•Launched new partner organization, the PTAC. Created business plan, facility design, implementation & procured equipment. Created staffing requisitions & job descriptions. Interviewed & staffed consultants. -Engaged with Partner Sales & Technical Account teams as Business Developer for PTAC services.-Developed Terms & Conditions, with HP Legal, for use in PTAC projects. Responsible for adherence to T&Cs.-Developed franchise plan to establish PTACs in locations worldwide. Additional PTACs implemented in Europe, Asia & Australia. Facilitated worldwide communication sessions.-Performed quality & consistency review for all PTAC project documents for Sales & Marketing.-Refreshed PTAC charter & support requirements yearly. Determined hardware requirements. -Relocated & implemented ‘new’ physical PTAC center.-Technical & business qualification of service requests, assignment of operations personnel & hardware resource allocations. Supported ~200-250 requests/year.-Mentored PTAC staff. -Merged dispersed PTACs into Central Lab in Houston, TX.-Transitioned PTAC from partner focus to internal R&D project support. •Managed HP/HPE Demo Loan Program to provide hardware platforms for all lab projects without outlay of expense dollars. At its highest, Demo budget supported was $6M. Proactive hardware planning allowed most current equipment for partners and R&D team usage. Rolled over older equipment for latest equipment on an on-going basis.•With Management, negotiated process for recapture monies for used equipment taking advantage of HP’s Financial Services program. Since inception, recouped ~$4M. Facilitated other teams making similar agreements.•Analyzed data, developed & distributed reporting for Senior Management.•Aided in obtaining early release hardware for internal engineering. Worked extensively with supply chain to procure equipment.•Developed proposal to Senior Management to expand Data Center charter & organization in support of new technologies.

Project Manager - Special Project for Partner Migration to Itanium Platforms

•Program Manager for 30 Key Partner Migrations to Itanium. Partnered with all Technical Account Managers, Partner Technical Services Senior Management and Partner Marketing teams. Program included recruiting of all completer applications (including open source apps) to give key partners the ability to fully migrate. Maintained status of each partner for reporting to global team. 168 ISV’s/399 applications migrated. Project duration 18 months.•Developed Itanium Transition collateral and distributed to entire Partner organization. Active member of Field Steering Committee and Transition Task Force.•Developed “Port-a-thon” Developer Workshop processes to migrate additional partners to HP platforms. This was a paid consulting service that was held in sites worldwide. Setup and managed credit card payment process with 3rd party vendor. Reconciled all transactions. ~$300K collected over duration of program.•Managed PTAC Recruit to Win (RTW) program to encourage new partners to port and test their applications on HP hardware, so the applications could be added to the HP portfolio of offerings. •Recruited and interviewed Partner Account Managers (PAMs) for RTW, consisting of employees and contractors. Supervised PAM activities. 78 partners recruited over 18 months.
