My reports formed the basis upon which Underwriters made decisions concerning the settlement or denial of claims and therefore needed to set out all pertinent issues accurately and concisely. Given the global nature of underwriting capacity in specialist classes, I was engaged to report on losses from underwriters both in London and overseas markets.

    I worked as an account executive originally within the Crowley Colosso division of Lambert Fenchurch and thereafter Heath Lambert. Initially my role was focussed on the placement of cash in transit business emanating from a wholesale sources but grew to include jewellers block business emanating from Antwerp and Israel along with ancillary jewellery manufacturers and mining entities in Russia, China, Africa and Latin America. In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on 11th September 2001 I successfully placed and managed a difficult book of business within a challenging marketplace whilst creating new relationships within the London market.
