Provide onsite customer engineering support on current, future and advanced model wire harness and value added assemblies at customer locations through participation in customer related Engineering, NPI and Quality activities. This position will create and maintain a good communication link between customer and the ECI plants. Lead problem solving activities at customer facilities by analyzing the failure mode and identifying details prior to communicating to ECI plants.Validate the product and support all preproduction activities from the project conception to the production launch. Drive PPAP approval activities at the customer's location. Participate in the AQP activities (component workshop), preproduction activity verifying fit, form, function that identifies any concerns to customer. Support sales and identify new business opportunities or any threats of losing business. Identify cost reduction opportunities through product re-design or alternative materials
