Project delivered on time and $2MUSD under budget. Created and implemented extranet portal that allowed wholesale consumers to place, track and take delivery of purchase orders on-line (20% increase of Sales Volume for Gamesa).The CTO role reported directly to Mexico’s CIO and matrix and dotted line to PepsiCo International CTO. Main responsibilities included overseeing the day to day operations of all corporate systems and applications to support business activities, as well as participating in projects that required strong technical skills and deep business understanding. Ultimate responsible for the operation and uptime of two data centers located in Mexico, voice and data services (WAN), service availability for all applications, Help Desk, Field Services and all other IT technical services.Managed tech refresh life cycle for all data center (servers) and end user compute (PCs, laptops) infrastructure as well as for all voice and data equipment (PBX, IPTel) and all ancillary support services (printers, copiers, etc.).
