Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria serves traditional smoked Texas barbecue on hand-pressed nixtamal corn tortillas and became the first of its kind—a barbecue taqueria—on the East Coast. This vision began as a humble food trailer in Jersey City, serving as a proof of concept and currently expanded to 5 locations, in addition to a commissary. You can find our taquerias at: Westfield’s Garden State Mall, Terminal A at Newark International Airport, The College of New Jersey, Smorgasbar, and an additional location in Jersey City. They also have a robust mobile and catering operation, partnering with renowned entities like Smorgasburg, Compass, Sodexo, MCA, and Aramark, among others.
