Successfully ambitious companies cannot - by definition - afford to be 'ordinary'. They require everyone to be individually operating at the top of their game and to be collectively pulling together in the same direction. This takes effort... constant effort.Most people come to work wanting to do a really good job, and yet so many things can (and do) get in the way. We can call those things 'interferences'. They detract from an individual's / team's potential, and undermine what is achieved ( i.e. the outcome / performance).Every action has a consequence - indeed, even inaction has a consequence. However, systematically pinpointing the interferences enables discussions to happen, and discussions enable deliberate choices or strategies to be adopted to reduce those interferences. Through the implementation of thoughtful strategies, 'ordinary' performance then has the opportunity to become 'extraordinary'.I work with individuals and teams to identify their 'interferences'. I am a freelance business consultant with 20 years consulting experience and expertise in the area of people and performance. My key expertise areas are: creating clarity for performance, shaping company structures for hight performance and growth, employee engagement, talent assessment and development, and performance coaching.
