      I was heading the Data integration and centralization of the database teams within ICICI bank. http://www.icicibank.com It is the largest private sector bank and the 2nd largest bank in India. It has operations ranging from core banking to Insurance, risk management, Investment banking and other financial products. ICICI’s offices are spread across the globe from Canada to UK, and Singapore. My key responsibility at ICICI when I left was to consolidate the multiple branch networks across the country and create regional and subsequently a centralised data centre for the Bank. My core responsibilities included:•Integration of the Financial Databases - Project managed the Centralization of Databases project for the entire Bank. It involved the Data integration process, including the technical process of Oracle Database Mergers ultimately creating the single largest financial database at that point of time in India.•Project managed the DATA Centre setups across 15 Regional centres across India for the Bank and subsequently decommissioned those centers once the databases were centralized in one location. •Project managed roll outs of new versions of Financial banking package from INFOSYS http://www.infosys.com/ with upgrades and new products integrated into the final package. •Project managed the setup of the Disaster recovery Centre for ICICI bank & managed the Implementation of the VERITAS Server management (Disaster Recovery) solution.•Project managed the transition of new servers (HP- Serengeti range) for the Bank.•Lead the project team, allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff and appraising individual performance.•Evaluate and made recommendations/decisions on options as appropriate.•Advised resource managers (staff line managers) on the development, training and appraisal requirements for project staff.
