    Hired away from Lehman on 2yr contract to build and run West Coast Institutional Rates/Derivatives team. Like my colleagues at Lehman, the BarCap team was at the forefront of one of the most important financial, governmental, and social experiments in American history. Significant inaccuracies aside, I lived The Big Short, Margin Call, Too Big To Fail, and ultimately, The Fall of the House of Lehman. Incredible friendships were formed with teammates, clients, competitors, and even members of the Federal Reserve/Government. Fortunately, my leaving the business for Entrepreneurial pursuits in 2007 meant I "mostly" avoided 150yr old Lehman Brother's collapse in 2008. Bottom line is there was no better industry in which to work with, compete against, learn from, and network with the best and brightest.
