    Joined the project as powertrain designer, drafting and helping design the first gearbox ever made in team history. Placed first in the the Northeast Competition for the very first time in the history of the UFPBaja in 2011, repeating as champions in 2012.Since 2010, the team consistently placed in the Brazilian top 15 in a field of 80 teams in the National Baja SAE Petrobras competition.Became Powertrain manager in 2012, and oversaw powertrain team which designed the first 2 Speed Epicyclic gearbox in team history and the second ever designed in Brazil.

    Designed a single-passenger, 99cc vehicle with a four speed, semi-automatic transmission.Focused on low-production costs and low fuel consumption to minimize impact on the environment. Prototype was designed to showcase both simplicity and viability, and to prove that design could be built by high school students.Awarded the 2nd best students project in Brazil (2008 SAE Congress) against Engineering college and university students.
