Bruce is the Sector Head for the Built Environment at the IET. In previous roles, he has worked to develop the IET’s technical partnerships and new communities.Bruce developed the Professional and Technical Networks, initially in the Power Sector and then on to new areas such as Pulsed Power and HPRF. This was followed by an overarching Partnership and Business Development position within the Knowledge Management Directorate.As Head of Sector, Bruce’s role encompasses the development and delivery of the Built Environment Sector strategy. This covers smarter cities (integrated systems), building energy performance, city wide systems/community scale thinking and environmental conditioning systems.
