    General skills : 1) Responsible for providing overall administrative direction, technical expertise and support to project teams on a number of projects of various size and scale. 2) Responsible for the Project and Project Team’s performance, timely procurement of materials, parts, tools and equipment, and schedule and resource planning. 3) Accountable for achieving project objectives within areas of safety, environment, cost, schedule, quality and performance. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following: • Lead/Participate in constructability reviews and construction readiness assessments • Attendance at weekly scope progress meetings, technical meetings and steering Committees• Improve communication flow between the Project’s Team • Liaise and co-ordinate work task activities with other Construction Managers allocated to the Project’s scopes. • Undertake self-assessment/audit exercises to identify problem areas/processes to allow continual improvement. • Review ‘critical path scopes of work’ plans and ensure safety & efficiency is incorporated • Identify ‘scope risks’, record in Project Risk Register, mitigate the risks• Maintain excellent relationships with owner, architect, consultants, subcontractors, public. • Ambassador of the company both internally and externally. • Ensure project profitability, schedule adherence and customer satisfaction. • Develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budget are in jeopardy. • Review and update schedule, cost forecast and cash flow with Project Team.• Ensure resolution of all project disputes. • Ensure optimum utilization of labour, material and other resources across all projects. • Assist project team in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods.• Supervise, mentor, coach and train project personnel. • Participate in tender closings.
