    Ohmite Manufacturing, part of The Heico Companies has acquired the Electronic Component business of Kanthal, now known as the Ohmite Ceramic Resistor Division. Changing roles from General Manager of Operations into new product development, focused on developing ceramic materials for their unique high power & energy characteristics. Responsible for Ohmite's resistance load bank product line, including leading a team of engineers, performing standard and custom designs.

    General manager for the manufacture of high voltage resistors, varistors, thermistors and high temperature electric heating elements. Responsible for the complete P&L and daily operations of a $12M, 80 person union manufacturing operation, located in Niagara Falls, NY. In 2005 developed the project plan and lead a project team to consolidate operations into existing and new locations, including the establishment of a new operation in Mexico, which is ongoing today. On the path to becoming the General Manager, held various positions including Process Engineer, QA Manager , and General Manager. As Quality Manager, lead the effort to achieve ISO-9000 certification. During this time the company changed names & ownership, including Carborundum, Cesiwid, Kanthal and finally Sandvik.
