Hired on as strictly a contractor salesman in 2009, over the next four years my account package grew and evolved to include OEM, municipal and industrial accounts along with contractors. With the success at a high profile job like Amazon and also converting a large Kenosha contractor to Viking in 2014, I am once again contractor focused. My ability to work in partnership with rep agencies and manufacturers has helped me to continue growing my account package, even getting one of my lighting projects published in a national trade magazine.

I was placed in charge of opening the very first City Electric Supply Branch in the State of Wisconsin. Involvement included every aspect of start-up: build out of a vacant space, hiring an entire support staff, vendor negotiations, purchasing, point of sale design, etc.My staff and I placed ourselves in position to survive the recession when 50% of the Illinois/Wisconsin Region was being shuttered. City Electric Supply was an invaluable lesson in the many facets of small branch management.

Starting at the parts counter in 1994, Steiner Electric Supply gave me the opportunity to grow into a contractor and industrial MRO account manager. The real gains came with the addition of key accounts such as Abbott Labs and Baxter Labs. Using a true team mentality, Steiner and I were able to provide a full set of solutions at these major OEM accounts growing the sales exponentially.
