    I joined Price Waterhouse (later pwc) to start their Cost Management and Productivity Improvement Division. I was one of the first non-CPA’s to be admitted to the Price Waterhouse Partnership. I managed financial feasibility studies for new ventures and cost management improvement projects across a wide spectrum of industries. I was also one of the initiators of Activity Based Costing in South Africa. I served on the South African Council of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, and on the Council of the South African Production and Inventory Control Society (SAPICS).After 17 years with the same organisation I wanted a new challenge and resigned to get involved with a start-up operation.

I also ran one of only two official ACMA Trainee Schemes in Southern Africa - a very fulfilling experience. I left Hendlers when I was offered an opportunity to join Price Waterhouse.
