Under Dr. Merrill Christensen in the Nutrition department, we use genetically engineered mice to observe the effects (and timing) of dietary soy and selenium supplementation on prostate cancer development. My specific role is on the Histology and Immunohistochemistry team to obtain and analyze the tissue.

Assist the Industrial Hygienist to monitor ventilation systems, gas detectors, confined spaces, and proper respirator training and usage on BYU campus. We work closely with BYU faculty to ensure all labs and systems are up to code, and to prevent any overexposure or accidents.
