    As Director, I was responsible for setting and executing the vision of Teach For America's partnership with 23 school districts in northwest Mississippi and mission-aligned community organizations. These responsibilities included ensuring the certification and employment of more than 270 teachers in the region. In addition to managing external partnerships and the hiring process for new teachers, I supervised two staff members whose responsibilities included managing our licensure agreement with the state department of education, onboarding teachers into our program, developing and delivering communications about our program, and grant writing.
