    As an HPOP PASS Student Tutor Coordinator (HPOP, Health Profession Opportunity Program) (PASS, Peer Assisted Student Sessions), my duties consist of supervising Peer Facilitators to help lead and tutor (PASS Tutoring) sessions. Facilitators are students who have successfully completed targeted MA (Medical Assistant) courses in the past and recommended by the instructor. As an STC I assist with interpreting the class instructor’s curriculum and lead instruction on PASS topics dealing with study and success skills. The students are provided with one-on-one case management services and referred to additional resources based on on-going assessment of barriers.
