Provided technical direction to program managers in the provinces of Mpumalanga, North West and the Northern Cape in South Africa on the monitoring of health systems that strengthened interventions focused on HIV prevention, care and treatment. Provided technical leadership in data quality improvement at a facility level, data collection, management and accuracy, and using good quality health information for program decisions. Collaborated with PPM partners on health system strengthening priorities, identifying potential solutions and writing funding proposals to implement such solutions. Such collaborations have involved private sector partners like Xstrata Coal South Africa and Corporate Renaissance Group and international organizations like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and USAID.
