Bootstrap Catering began as a word of mouth business as a part of TNT vents (est. 2003). There was a need for specific catering and we had the equipment and the knowledge and it fir within our mission; To provide the best quality service and product to fit within the budgets of our clientèle. As I started working closely with the homeless community and was seeing over 100 students come through my kitchen Bootstrap was born. We only hire those who have been trained in our volunteer kitchens.Our motto is "From the affordable to the extravagant" a philosophy we embrace. we pride ourselves in being able to provide excellent service and beautiful food whether you are on a restricted budget or want to aim for a higher price point. Our clientèle have ranged from other non-profit organizations to celebrities and local government officials.

      I was the CEO/Program Director director in charge of the Drop-In-Center. I handle volunteer coordination, act as supervising chef, on site nutritionist, develop menus, purchasing, budgets and execution of the Sunday afternoon program. I began with the UCO DIC as a volunteer then full time unpaid staff but as we have grown I have taken on the responsibility as the sole paid staff. we are currently in the strategic planning stage taking the DIC to the next level. Through capacity building and fund raising we hope to do more and serve more of those in need. I have been able to hone my skills as a Volunteer Director, Development director and Fund raiser.
