Construction of large industrial complexes (typically oil-refineries, petrochemical plants, mining facilities), in various domestic and international locations. Many of these were in remote locations, with a demand for extensive planning and country-specific challenges (resources, logistics, environmental/social, cultural). Progressively increasing responsibilities to Construction Director and Project Manager of multi-billion dollar facilities.After retirement, continued as consultant for Fluor and other companies, with assignments to train Construction Managers, and to assess high-risk international projects.
