Corporate Director Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability • Provide corporate oversight of EH&S activities for Sabre’s manufacturing and field services divisions.• Serve as the corporate point person for EH&S Standards to minimize the Company’s general liability and exposure to environmental, safety and health risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.• Collaborate w/ the local EH&S and HR teams regarding the collection, analysis, verification, and communication of EH&S metrics to the executive team.• Identify EH&S issues that are essential for full compliance and conform to existing and planned business development.• Proactively coach the EH&S teams and oversee their functional development.• Serve as the corporate point person for the workers compensation plan and our interactions w/ our plan administrators.• Serve as the corporate point person re: legal issues that relate to EH&S, including all interactions with OSHA and environmental regulators.AccomplishmentsImplemented a Sustainability Program which includes: Energy, water, recycling solid waste management, Hazardous waste reduction, greenhouse gas emissions and carbon foot print determination.Implemented a Safety Management system based on the ISO outline.Implemented an Environmental Management system based on the ISO outline.Utilize a continuous improvement model which provides a means to reduce risk and hazards which has decreased the incident rate.

Project ManagementDevelopment and delivery of customized safety programs and training sessions which were held at the college or on at company’s site.Development and delivery of customized safety training for general industry, construction and the tele communications industry.Developed and delivered the Safety Director course at Western Iowa Tech Community College. This was a blended course of online and in person training. This multi session course was developed for the new Safety Director. Provided safety consultation to regional manufacturing general industry, construction and national safety consultation for the tele communications industry.Developed and delivered a number of safety training topics funded by the OSHA Susan Harwood grant, topics included The Safety Director Course, Fall Protection for the Tele Communications Industry. Full time FacultyPrimary Instructor for courses related to Building and Industrial Maintenance, Boiler Operation, Refrigeration, Controls HVAC, Electrical, Pneumatics, hydraulics, energy management.
