    I’m working in Art Department on Shortland Street as an Art Director. My job involves reading and breaking down scripts, attending location recces, meetings, and creating the overall look of the sets and what they would need for what the scene requires. I will take the breakdown I have created and pass it onto the various Standby props and Art assists I work with and manage them on set as well as make calls on how the set looks and what props we should use. This role has given me experience in working very closely with Production Designers, Directors, 1st AD’s and Producers, script breakdowns, managing a team of standbys and assistants, special fx creations like camera traps and blood rigs and the creative freedom to design a sets overall look for the scenes I shoot.     I’m working in Art Department on Shortland Street as a Standby props. My job involves sourcing, buying and making of props, taking them and using them on set in studios and locations. Working closely with actors and working with on screen food props. This role has given me experience in prop making and sourcing, working closely with cast as well as working closely on set with an Art Director as well as the on set crews, learning about how the set works and learning new skills from my superiors. From this role I was able to use my skills to work up to an Art Director position.

    I’m working in Art Department on Shortland Street as a Studio Assistant. My job involves putting the sets together for crew to shoot, making food props, general standby and running.This role has given me experience in basic building work with hand tools and electric tools, set building, food prop preparation, and general maintenance. From this role I was able to use my skills to work up to a stand by props position.

Have had work experience on a few productions such as Westside Season 2, Bombshell and Shortland Street as well as worked under supervision industry professionals and along side them.
