Music dept. to buyer, coordinating unit sales with major label and indie distributors, interacting with artists and colleagues who ensured the steady flow of business for the industry. Supervised staff working within my department and maintained cordial relations with customers and colleagues in an actively engaged teamwork setting.

Complete responsibility for daily playlists, engineering, scripting and on-air announcing of 7pm-midnight program which serviced the Greater Washington DC metro listening area and could be heard as far north as Baltimore and south as North Virginia. Occasionally produced special programming like one-hour special on Miles Davis in '87 and biographical promotions of Milt Hinton for his book, "Basslines", and Illinois Jacquet for his Atlantic Records comeback release, "Jacquet's Got It!" in '89. Gave this up for Tower Records management promotion and to start a family.
