A full-time member of the Law Faculty, I create teaching materials, I evaluate and mentor students, I manage academic projects, and stay up to date with the current research in my area of specialisation (gender studies, postcolonial studies, critical legal studies). More specifically: - I co-created and direct the Gender Law Clinic, the first of its kind in Turkey;- I teach Women's Rights from a critical perspective, with the help of local experts;- I teach Legal English from a critical perspective, looking at issues of conceptual and linguistic translation; - I coach students for international moot court competitions;- I organize public events such as panels or lectures;- the only non-Turkish staff on the Law Faculty, I am used to navigating a professional and social culture which is different from the ones I grew up in or have previously worked in.

I co-chair and coordinate with Emmanuelle Tourme Jouannet this research program and network founded in January 2014. More specifically:- I have designed and convened workshops on critical feminist approaches to international law (Black feminisms, postcolonial feminisms, queer theory);- I have edited a newsletter for our members where I showcased some of their profiles;- I have assisted in the edition of a collective volume on feminist approaches to international law;- I have edited a collective volume on queer approaches to international law;- I have promoted multilinguistic research as a way to foster a more diverse science;- I have built OLYMPE's website and Facebook page.
