My job as an Engineering Technologist consists of assembly, testing and shipping of assemblies. We solder connectors on cables and use polyurethane to mold around the connector ends to ensure a watertight and durable cable. I am also trained to use the forklift to move crates, pallets, and spools of cables in and around our warehouse. We use multimeters, meggers, and power supplies to electrically test, before using a pressure tank to test our assemblies at high pressures.
