    • Grew the business by reversing a declining turnover into strong growth through both organically and through acquisitions. • Prepared the business for sale and sold to global insurance broker MMC. During this process, I identified the correct strategic partner and initiated contact and sold the concept, allowing for the beginning of a major acquisition. Alongside other shareholders, I agreed the outline deal and pricing, whereby I managed the transaction to conclusion.• After successful acquisition of Clark Thomson by MMC, I led the integration of the business, whilst also maintaining financial momentum by motivating a strong leadership team, and maintaining supportive relationships with Insurers and other stakeholders. Alongside this, I led sales and client retention activity including managing a small number of direct client relationships. In a highly regulated environment, I led the integration of Clark Thomson to ensure systems, processes and quality aligned across the UK. This included other recent MMC acquisitions which were added to my role as Managing Director of Scotland and The Lakes.• During this time, it was also critical that business growth opportunities were maximised to achieve certain aspects of the commercial arrangements between MMC and Clark Thomson.
