    This was such a fantastic contract! Engaging with ACA as a peak association for delivering the Victorian Government’s Dept of Education “Positive Start” Program. Engaging over 100,000 Year 3-12 students to go on camp to increase their mental health and well-being since COVID lockdowns. Managing customer care teams and supporting for 60 camp providers across the state. Designing weekly catch ups, online forums and key liaison with stakeholders for this $110+mill project. Imparting industry knowledge, designing effective systems, reporting to Government, managing compliance, building stakeholder communications, running provider weekly workshops, allocating and distributing budgets and designing data collection and systems to gather crucial outcomes and benefits of camps for young people. What a huge project, a great role and a necessity to improve student learning, mental health and wellness. I joined the ACA team as the Camp Operations Manager - Positive Start in January 2023. Project finished on 30 June 2023. In that time was instrumental in exceeding expectations in delivery, no. Students (over 190% more engagement than anticipated), provider communications and outputs, and evaluations of the benefits of the experience. An awesome project proud to be part of. With a great team, phenomenal finding and evidence -based outcomes for participants, camp providers, transport companies, staff/ employees, associated community businesses, and the broader regional and urban communities across Victoria.
