I have been co-owner of this great establishment for almost 20 years. It's part group shop with consignors and part traditional book shop. We have 35,000 books on 3 levels. Everything from paperback copies of Hemingway or Robert Parker to rarer Massachusetts town histories. Some of our specialties include Cook books, Children's and Illustrated, New England, Social Reform, Mystery and much more .Located on Rte. 5 & 10 right off of I-91 on the New York to Vermont corridor. Exit 22 just above Northampton, Mass (7 miles away) and Springfield, Mass (25 miles).Open everyday of the week with our two "short" days being Wed 12-4pm and Sunday 12-5 pm. Otherwise 10-5:30 pm daily.

Was the manager of this now defunct old used and rare book store on Broadway in New Haven just down from the Yale Co-op. Orchestrated the change over from new and antiquarian stock to an all used and antiquarian book shop. Unfortunately as the landlord (Yale University) raised the rent the shop shrunk to a smaller and smaller space ending up for a few last years upstairs and in the rear. I left a bit before that in 1977 to move to the Amherst, Mass area to enroll in Wildlife Biology at UMASS. But that's another story...
