My role at Bravehearts has been to assist with anything required in the clerical/secretarial field. I have assisted with the reporting to the Royal Commission regarding the journeys of survivors of child sexual assault. I have also logged books, journals and electronic readings and statistics into a complete library for easy access to information for the team.

I was employed by John Woulfe (himself) as a paralegal for more than 16 years as his secretary and as a senior conveyancer. The office was quite small and therefore we all had to work as a team and share any overload of work in all facets of law. I enjoyed working for John and when he retired and sold the business to Christopher Henaghan I stayed on as part of the team for a further 18 months where my job description changed and I was trained to manage the estate files. This new role was one I enjoyed and thrived in however there was a huge changeover of staff which was quite stressful and I found I could no longer stay with the firm. Since approximately mid 2012 I have not worked in any paid capacity however I do treat my role as a volunteer at Bravehearts as seriously as I would in any paid job. I have recently been overseas travelling and I have arrived back in Australia with a new zest for life and feel I would like to re-enter the workforce.
