Lic. Real Estate Salesperson
-
May 2005 - Present
As a top producing sales agent at the West Islip office of Winkler Real Estate, I provide my buyers and sellers with continuous feedback and up-to-date market conditions. My strong communication skills enable me to keep the sellers hopeful and the buyers excited about the homes they are viewing. Specifically I work with clients and customers to sell and purchase condos, coops, single family, multi-family, commercial properties, land, and rentals. My enthusiasm for the job and my people skills contribute to my success. I don't just find folks a house....I find them a home!

Coordinator of School-Community Services
-
Jul 1994 - Jun 2003
As the Coordinator of School-Community Services for the Bay Shore Public Schools, I fostered the connection between residents, parents, students and businesses of the Bay Shore Commumity with their public schools. A public school district has the potential to be the most stable, unifying force in a community. Using my communication and leadership skills, while working along with numerous local organizations, we enabled the community of Bay Shore to undergo an economic revitalization, regain their belief in the public schools and give people a reason to be proud of their hamlet. Through the use of print media, public speaking, small group interaction and an annual town meeting, the Bay Shore Public Schools are now perceived to be an outstanding school district. And perception is the reality in this case!,

Speech Therapist
-
Jul 1970 - Jul 1994
During my early years in education, I provided speech therapy to students with speech and language delays from grades kindergarten through grade 12. Remediation is not possible without the help of parents and I worked closely with parents and caregivers to show them the techniques and strategies necessary to help their children. The position was expanded to include my role as Chairperson of the Committee on Pre-School Education in 1994. In this role I counseled parents of pre-schoolers who were concerned with their childrens' speech and language development. Working alongside Suffolk County and numerous providers, I was able to obtain appropriate placements and therapeutic services for hundreds of children.....further connecting me to the people of the community of Bay Shore.
