1. To determine the process reliabilty of the assembly , integration and testing process of L-40 Stage by using the special MS-Excell based Tool developed by the IIT team.2. To construct fault trees for the each structrual part of the L-40 stage and make pareto analysis to find the major error prone structure and process. 3. To make PFMECA analysis of the processes with high failure frequency and resulting in complete mission failure, partial mission failure or having impact on human safety.4. To make HAZOP analysis of proceses with safety critical consequenses.5. Fault tree analysis of the bracket breaking incident, of H8S3 stage, took place while carrying out the engine canting process.Special Contribution-• Contributed in the development of an HRA tool for the process analysis• Incorporated the environmental factor error probability for the consideration in the total error calculation.• Prepared full functional flow diagram for the overall Integration of the Liquid strap on booster.• Prepared an instruction manual for the HRA tool for process analysis. • Estimated the reliability of the propulsion system.

1. To ensure, defect free products are supplied to the customer, by controlling the inspection of the products in a shift.2. To check the dimensions of CTQs and other important parameters like Annealing, Coating, Ramp Pressure, crushing strength etc.3. To make analysis using QC tools to highlight issues which need attention.4. To maintain coordination with the production dept so that no defective products are produced.5. To maintain 5S in the work place.Special Contribution-• Put forward the proposal to make Pareto analysis of the defects produced in every shift.

1. Multi-skill ability to work in a team to ensure the proper running of the project, i.e. starting from installation of the experimental set-up to the result analysis in an HVAC system. (Radiant cooling system).2. To introduce Q.C principles in the project and do POKA YOKE. 3. To calibrate the sensors and ensure that all the components are properly connected as per OEM drawing and ensure the system is safe to work with.4. To draw the lay outs and create 3-D models, of the project related structures and components.5. To ensure the required quality of cooling medium and working fluid is supplied to the system by controlling the components associated with the project. Special Contribution-• A simplified “Cooling fluid controlling system” was proposed to control the flow from three tanks maintained at three different temperatures as per user’s requirement.• Implemented 5S and POKA YOKE concept.

1. To conduct and coordinate the final testing of the products collected from different production lines based on which the products are allowed for dispatch or sent to rework. 2. To work in a special team for analyzing defects and reducing it and increasing FPY.3. To find out the root cause of the defect and its solution by using different Q.C tools and technique. 4. To maintain coordination with the production department and ensure the daily production meets the customer requirements.5. To facilitate the implementation of 5-S strategies in work place. Special Contribution-• Determined and verified the mass of the refrigerant gas, getting charged into the diaphragm of the products.• Contributed to increased the FPY from 70% to 90% with the synergized effort of the project team.• A heat recovering system was proposed, which could eliminate the use of “one heater per production line” saving power of one kW/Hr of operation.• Made a targeted testing program of the products, which saved more than 20 minutes per batch of test. • Designed one special type of terminal mould, that could adapt all types of switch terminals used in production.
