    Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) is an initiative from the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates. It's a platform that works under the Patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.The Annual Investment Meeting has, for almost a decade from its inception, reached significant milestones that have mostly benefited emerging world economies. AIM is organized under the following pillars: Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), Startups, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) and Future Cities and its special event Next Fifty Years.

    Coordination of activities aiming to attract foreign and domestic investment, as well as promotion of items produced within the State of Mexico: • Conducted successful negotiations between the State of Mexico and international companies that allowed them to establish operations in local industrial parks, which led to accomplish the 2nd place nationwide in the Foreign Investment Attraction ranking of the Federal Ministry of Economy. • Developed electronic materials (website, social media content, videos, booklets, webinars) for the promotion of the State of Mexico, at a national and international level. • Coordinated over 250 international delegations visits, with the purpose of boosting investment attraction agenda. • Monitored nearly 100 promotional road shows, with the purpose of increasing handcrafts exports and SMEs internationalization. • Accomplished the 2nd place nationwide in the World Bank Ranking that measures the possibility and ease of doing business at the State level.

    Design and execution of policies and activities intending to promote the economic strengths of the State of Mexico: • Developed specialized policy and legal frame for the attraction of companies that belong to high value industries, such as information technology, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and agribusiness. • Coordinated an initiative with local NGOs, universities and companies for the development of innovative programs that allowed newly graduated people to find a suitable job.
