Provide leadership and management of the sales and marketing function:• Daily monitoring of Revenue, Costs and Debtors for the unit.• Implement the strategic direction for the function in ensuring the overall unit budgets are met and are in line with the overall company financial budget.• Ensuring the staff are Productive, efficient, motivated and managed through the performance management system.• Establish work procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining quality compliance standards.Increase advertising and sponsorship revenue:• Develop, implement and monitor the sales and marketing plan.• Prepare promotion and sales plan.• Monitor the advertising spends by segment and develop marketing campaigns to maintain the market share.• Analyse sales revenue potential in value adding aspects of the Fiji Television business.• Coordinate the ratings, twice a year and provide interpretation and reports for the Executive Management.Inform Executive Management:• Revenue budgets, actual and forecasts.• Report on sales and promotions campaigns.• Market analyse reports.• Work with other departments to achieve customer profiles and corresponding needs.Demonstrate and uphold the image and value standards at all times:• Overall responsibility for the standard and compliance of advertisement delivered through Fiji Television.• The role of the Manager Sales is to grow revenue for Fiji TV and this is achieved by working directly with the top advertising spenders, signing Advertisers on as direct clients of Fiji TV and growing the overall spend for clients each year. The key assessment of this role will be the annual growth of the client spend;• Client records, reports and annual spend planner to be updated annually with an indicated growth from previous year.• The overall team targets to be achieved and show a growth each • Overall team targets to show a 25% growth above target.
