In addition to serving as the Chamber's chief tax lobbyist and providing general legislative strategy and direction for the powerhouse lobbying team, Ashley is Executive Director of the Chamber's Women Taking the Lead program which connects and champions high performing women leaders. She also helps build out the Public Affairs arm of her division to showcase the Chamber's work on Capitol Hill and put a spotlight on the many ways the nation's largest business federation leads in advocacy. Ashley is focusing on telling stories in innovative ways, organizing efforts to strengthen and build out grassroots networks and executing and directing new approaches to bring together business community stakeholders and top government officials to collaborate and create action plans on key issues of importance to the business community.Ashley also manages the lobbying, strategic communications, political, and grassroots efforts on large scale advocacy campaigns. Her role is to help position the Chamber as a leading national voice for pro-growth economic policies and advocate for the interests of domestic companies, international and multinational corporations, and small businesses. She has developed vast, senior-level, bipartisan contacts on Capitol Hill, in particular with tax writing committees, House and Senate leadership and the administration and she specializes in offering strategic advice for overcoming hurdles to enacting key legislation.She is a frequent speaker at state and local chamber events across the U.S. to educate and activate grassroots on a variety of other issues too. Ashley participates in broad and diverse industry working groups as well as the Chamber's Freshman Forums with new Members of Congress. She also provides leadership on the steering committees for numerous coalitions and awards members of Congress with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's "Spirit of Enterprise" Award in districts and states.

Ashley successfully led a multi-divisional, cross-functional advocacy effort across Chamber divisions and the larger business community to enact the first comprehensive tax reform package in over 31 years. In this role she traveled the country delivering more than 100 speeches in 2018 to generate support for the sweeping overhaul.
