The Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) is a registered, not-for-profit organization that focuses on diversity and inclusion, human rights, and equity in Canada's workplaces. Our Learning and Knowledge Solutions team focuses on developing innovative content for our 700+ employer partners. As a Manager of Learning and Knowledge Solutions, I am responsible for instructional design and curriculum development for, and facilitation of, CCDI webinars and events.I am also the program lead for CCDI's youth education initiative, See Different, a free certification program and network for youth in Canada aged 15-26. This includes instructional design and curriculum development, program management, business development, and facilitation.

Reporting to the Director of Internationalization, the Education Abroad Advisor (EAA) supports the international partnerships of StFX and facilitates the participation of students in education abroad activities. During my time in this role, I:- Worked with our team to successfully overhaul university risk management policies and procedures related to international travel- Developed pre-departure and re-entry training programs for Canadian students going abroad- Developed a new international credit transfer procedure for StFX's 30+ international exchange partnerships- Designed marketing materials and promotional campaigns for the international exchange program and overhauled the exchange website- Collaborated with a small team to organize the 2021 - CBIE (Canadian Bureau of International Education) Annual Regional Atlantic Meeting, and was an active member of the AIM (Atlantic International Mobility) Group- Maintained close relationships with staff and faculty on campus in an effort to build awareness of the university's Internationalization efforts and the transformative nature of education abroad activities
