    I have been on the Board of the UC Berkley Foundation since 2004. I also served as Chairman of the Board in 2012 and 2013. The University of California, Berkeley Foundation (UCBF) has been dedicated to supporting UC Berkeley’s core endeavors — teaching, research, and public service — since 1948. In addition to fundraising for the University, the Board’s mission is to serve as an advisory group for the Chancellor and the campus as a whole — to ensure UC Berkeley’s continuing stature as one of the world’s preeminent institutions of higher learning.
