The Education and Social Protection Programs included components related to whole school improvement strategies, girls' education and leadership, Child Protection, HIV/AIDS and Gender Based Violence and included more than 30 staff members. I was responsible for the overall management of the programs, development of program strategies, developing new business opportunities and ensuring program quality. In addition, I was responsible for developing partner relationships and networking with relevant stakeholders in Egypt and the region. Finally I was a member of the top executive team responsible for all organizational decisions and polices within the country office. Key achievements:Securing funding for the Education Program as part of a Global Development Association fund from USAID for promoting girls leadership in Egypt and developing various business opportunities with International Organizations and private sectorEnsured quality implementation and donor reporting for 8 projects funded by various multi lateral donors like the EU, USAID, and foundations like Ford Foundation, Vodafone Foundation, and other corporate companies in EgyptFinalized the closure of the New Schools Program, an 8 year funded USAID project for the promotion and expansion of girls' education in Upper Egypt by building 98 schools and 180 multi grade schools Leading program teams in the development of M&E plans for a variety of donors based on CARE Program Standards
